On December 19, 2023, at 14:00, the "Barrier-Free Tea Time: Understanding and Addressing the Biopsychosocial Challenges of Disabled Individuals in University Life" event was held at Uluyazı Tuzluk Cafe with the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. Harun Çiftçi, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yavuz Demirel, and University Disability Unit Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ceyhun Türkmen.

During the event, the focus was on understanding and addressing the biopsychosocial challenges faced by disabled staff and students, spouses and children of martyrs and veterans, earthquake-affected staff and students, and students under protection, care, or shelter orders according to the Child Protection Law. The goal was to discuss and propose solutions to these challenges.
